We often talk about club legends, but if you were lucky enough to know Rich, you’ll know you were in the presence of greatness. Warm, generous, funny and kind - a man who loved his family beyond measure!
Barkers came a close second in Rich’s life, clearly demonstrated by the many, many hours he spent playing, coaching and caring for the club and its grounds as part of our treasured ‘grandads army’.
Rich has left a hole in our hearts that will never be filled. He’ll be fondly remembered for his huge smile, his firm handshake and his passion for rugby.
