It is with sadness that we have to announce the passing of Bob Forrest who died on Monday 20th November. Bob's funeral will be held on Wednesday 6 December, 2.45pm, at Nuneaton Crematorium. The wake will be held back at Barkers Butts RFC from 4pm.

Bob was a talented rugby player, playing second-row regularly for Barkers’ first XV in the 70’s and 80’s. Pete Jones, who played with him often, remembers that he was a great mate, generous with his time and always looked after and encouraged the younger players.

Bob had been ill for some time but died surrounded by his family. Our love and thoughts go to his wife Edna, his children Tracey and Scott, and the rest of the family. Rest in peace Bob - always a Barkers boy.
