Great news! We can return back to rugby from Monday 29 March. Senior training starts back on Tuesday 30 March 7pm, with Mini and Juniors following soon after. Please see individual team sites for full details.

Return to play arrangements (as at 24/3/21):

 - Test and trace: As part of the Government/NHS Test and Trace strategy and new regulations, it is mandatory and a legal requirement for us to have a Test & Trace system in place. This will allow us to maintain contact details of players, coaches, members, staff and spectators to pass to NHS Test and Trace in the event that a participant subsequently tests positive for COVID-19. Please make sure that when you enter our site, you check yourself in using the QR code displayed around the club.

 - We will return to play at Stage D1 and stage D2 (from Mon 26 April). Coaches will provide full details of what this means for players but the guidance can be found here.

 - The clubhouse will not be open for drinks and/or refreshments
(It is expected that clubhouses will be able to re-open in line with national hospitality guidance from Step 2 on the government’s roadmap. This is when pubs and restaurants will be permitted to re-open (no earlier than 12 April.)

 - Toilets will be available but changing rooms and showers are unable to be open

 - Spectators are not currently allowed at any community sport and physical activity sessions or events. This does not apply to carers for disabled people, or adults needed to supervise under-18s in a safeguarding role. If you are supervising your child, please adhere to social distancing rules, supervising adults or waiting parents/carers should not mix with others from outside their household or support bubble. Only one parent/carer should attend with a child.

RFU updated guidance: Car sharing – "We have now had confirmation from Government and Sport England on car sharing for sport and physical activity. This is not permitted at step 1 and 2 and car sharing is not permitted until further notice."

Please can we remind everyone to be sensible - please respect the spirit in which grassroots sport has been granted permission to return. Please do not congregate together on sidelines.

 - Car parking: We know that everyone has missed the club and rugby so we expect to see lots of you at the sessions over the next few weeks. Please make everyone's life easier by parking sensibly and safely.

We are hoping that everyone will enjoy returning back to rugby. As we all know, the current rules and regulations are challenging. If you have any queries, comments or can suggest any improvements then please contact one of the main club committee members or a member of the M&J Committee or speak to your coach.

We will try and keep you updated with changes on return to play as and when we get them. Enjoy being back!
