With much sadness, we have to announce that Jessica Pardo, a member of the Girls Under 18's squad, has died. Our thoughts and condolences go to Jess's family, friends and team mates.
Jess was a force both on and off the pitch. She was a fierce and talented rugby player who represented Barkers' proudly as well as Warwickshire. She had been poorly for a while, fighting a brain tumour bravely, with the character and resilience that her team mates loved her for. Jess was a real character; fun loving, smiley and someone who lit up a room.
You will be missed - fly high Jess.
