With sadness - Roy Palmer - Updated: Funeral details

It is with sadness that we announce the passing of Roy Palmer on Sunday 13 April, aged 81.

Roy was a life long supporter of Barkers', playing in every team from the 5th team, to the first team.

We send our condolences to his wife, Marlene, and the rest of Roy's family. Marlene said that he loved the Club!

Roy's funeral will be held on Monday 12 May, 1.30pm at Canley Crematorium, Coventry. The family would then like to invite everyone back to Barkers' Butts RFC, to share refreshments and memories of Roy.

Rest in peace Roy.
