💛💙 We know lots of you will be keen to hear the arrangements to pay respects to Charlie Stewart 💙💛
Our dear father, Charles Samuel Stewart passed away unexpectedly at home on the morning of Saturday 18th July – my brother Steven was at home with him when he died. The cause of my dad’s death was a Pulmonary Thromboembolism, a blood clot which blocked the artery in his lungs.
Dads funeral and burial will be held on Friday 21st August at 12:45 at Cannon Hill Chapel.
Unfortunately due to current restrictions, only 30 family members will be allowed to attend, however as a mark of respect we would like to invite all friends and family to join a Guard of Honour outside of the chapel to clap him into his final resting place. Anyone who knows my Dad through rugby, we ask that you wear a rugby shirt of your choice or a tour t-shirt which you have shared with him.
Rather than flowers, we would kindly ask for donations to be made via https://www.justgiving.com/crowdfunding/charles-samuel-stewart. Money raised will go towards ‘Gift of Living’, a charity that my dad was involved with that promotes awareness of living kidney donations within black communities.
Funeral – Cannon Hill Chapel (Canley Garden Cemetery entrance), Cannon Hill Road, Coventry, CV4 7DF
